BK Precision 1823A Frequency Counter...
« on: April 04, 2014, 08:52:21 am »
Hi All,
I am trying to create an Auto Test Rig using a BK Precision & GW Instek and a board of own design, Does anyone on the Forum have any experience using BK Precision instruments. The 5491B Multimeter seems to responding as does GSP-730, however there are issues with the 1823A Universal Frequency Counter I have followed the documentation and got a separate program running to ensure I can communicate to it.  This I have done successfully, however in copying across my method I encounter issues in the Synclock returning a Null value, with an argument exception unhandled.  Why?? can anyone shed any light at all as to why the code runs in stand alone but when put in the other test equipment it ceases to operate and blows up.

It would help to see code.
Then others can learn from it as well  :)
