The latest edition of the book USB Complete is from 2015. It has been 6 years now. Has anything changed substantially in this time since the book was issued?
I am looking into Cypress Semiconductor's FX3 to create USB peripherals. However, what are the alternatives in case someone has found something else to be easier to use?
Regardless of ease of use, what competitors do actually exist in the market for FX3 that make it easy to create a USB host/peripheral device and also write Windows/Linux drivers to interface with our custom USB Peripheral?
