USB driver to Win7 for X-10 CM15A
« on: February 19, 2014, 11:13:58 am »
I purchased a X-10 ActiveHome Pro interface over a year ago.
Since then they went under. :-\
I've since tried to use a 3rd party home automation but Win7 refuse to recognize the CM15A USB device.
Is there a way to "debug" that USB connection ???
Best regards

If the problem is that you need to communicate with X10.com and that server no longer exists, it's not a USB issue.

However, a search on

X-10 ActiveHome Pro

brought up this and other links that might be helpful:

Hello Jan,
Thanks for the link bu t I did go to those few hardcore X-10 user forum already. ;)
I did also install the Marmitek AHP client properly before connecting the CM15A USB interface as said.
The AHP client is working fine & reports it can't find the USB controller
Win7 refused to recognize it, the very reason I'm now looking at debugging the connection somehow until X-10 resume (if they ever) supporting their software.
Maybe the CM15A will end up at the electronic recycling :-[

In any event, thanks for your support & now I will start reading... 8)
