Title: Floppy drive communication but using USB stick or SD cards
Post by: erayaycan on September 29, 2010, 04:45:42 am
We are electronic design company and solving many problems and designing systems.

But we have a problem in solving below subject;

There is old CNC machines which are using PC (very old type, most of them DOS system) and in those machines there is your floppy drives "FD-235HF A529".
We want to use same Floppy IDE connection but no more floppy.
Against floppy we want data storage and transfer with USB sticks or SD cards, etc, which is more useful and as you know floppy disk is hard to find.

Is there any possibility to using same floppy cable with same communication protocol but with flash cards.

If you help us about it we will appreciated or if you have a product like this converting, we want to buy.

Thanks in advance and waiting your reply about the subject.
