Title: USB docking station device class ?

Does a usb docking station fall under any of the standard usb class drivers ? Or does it need a custom driver ?
Does it show up as one device to the usb?  Or is it more like a hub with all the devices behind it (monitor, keyboard, mouse, ...) showup as individual devices too ?

I'm guessing it's a hub but don't have one to test.
