Title: Does USB3 support OTG ?

 I've seen refrences that USB3 will support OTG. But I'm confused as to whether that refers to OTG at superspeeds (5G) or the legacy full speed (480) .

All OTG products have to support full speed when functioning as a host, but that doesn't preclude SuperSpeed operation. SuperSpeed products might need clarification on how to perform ADP, SRP, and HNP, which use the D+/D- lines for signaling.

The USB 3.0 spec defines USB 3.0 OTG connectors.

I don't know if any SuperSpeed OTG controllers are available.

Just a small point, Jan, probably just a mis-speaking, but ADP uses VBUS to do its signalling.

By the way, the USB 3 spec package contains the full OTG 3 supplement. Actually, it's time I read it myself!

You're right! It wasn't in earlier versions.
