Title: Help me to choose an USB hosting controller

Our requirement is we have to take data from 5 CDC device & send it through UART.
suggest me a controller which is cost effective .
And also suggest me to choose an open-source RTOS for this application .
we have used Vinculum 2 Evaluation board . we found problem in vinculum de-attach function .
we are looking for alternative controller .

You'll need a hub unless you can find a host controller with five device ports.

Embedded Linux would be one option for the OS.
