Title: Syncing USB Microphones
Post by: tec on August 20, 2013, 10:17:01 am
Is there any prevision or standard way to synchronize multiple USB microphones?  Ideally in real time. Our product is not actually a microphone but will appear as an Audio device and act like a USB microphone.  Would it be possible to use the Start-Of-Frame marker for synchronization?  If there is a defined approach for this, I would rather use that then develop my own.

Thanks for any help or pointers.

The USB audio class defines methods for synchronizing. I believe there is little support thus far for audio 2.0, so see audio 1.0, starting with section 3.3:
