USB Chips source
« on: December 13, 2013, 03:57:52 pm »
Good afternoon,

I am seeking a source or sources for the chips used in the "Memory Sticks" or "Thumb Drives" or the several other names I have heard for the small memory units that plug into the USB ports on the typical computer - I don't need the whole thing and just want to locate the manufacturers of the little chips - They would be installed in a special device that I am developing for use as part of my own products -Need quantities in the 1,000 to 10,000 range

Can someone point me in the right direction - The chips themselves, as salvaged from products that use them do not give a clue as to the manufacturer - At least not to my eyes - I'm a mechanical engineering type and have just enough electrical and digital knowledge to be dangerous to myself and those in near proximity -

I can send a sample and/or photos if you would like -
