I have a situation where older software only gives a selection for printer port as: LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, COM1, COM2, COM3 in one section of its selection. Generally the printer prints fine from Windows and other sections of the stated software. The new computer does not have serial or parallel ports..only USB.
Is there a way to virtually make the link between USB and LPT1?

Give these a try:

Thanks. It will be tomorrow before I can try anything, but both suggestions look promising.

Printfil did the job. I haven't tried Dos2USB yet. After working for weeks to get printing, I stopped at success. Printfil adds a few steps to print, but it works!!! Thanks very much for the pointers!
